The Municipality of Teslić (BiH) seeks partners for the project “EcoSmart City – Transforming Waste into Resources” focused on improvement of waste management utilizing recycling machines. This initiative also promotes primary waste selection, knowledge transfer, digitalization, and public awareness about recycling. Its main focus lies on climate change adaptation, resource efficiency, and pollution reduction.
Expected outcomes are improved waste management infrastructure, increased public participation in recycling, improved resource efficiency, and transferable models for similar areas. The Municipality of Teslić, which has implemented over 70 internationally funded projects including EU-funded ones, will work on adapting strategic policies, knowledge transfer, pilot solutions (in settlements or schools), and advocacy.
