Established in 2009 within the community of Tešanj, Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Development Agency of Tešanj Municipality has been a driving force in local economic growth. With a population of approximately 50,000 residents, our agency has successfully executed over 100 projects, supported by both domestic and international funding sources. Our core mission is to foster sustainable development across Tešanj Municipality, enhancing various sectors through strategic project implementation. Notable among our initiatives is the cross-border ER2=S2 project, dedicated to supporting families and individuals with disabilities, integrating them into everyday life seamlessly. Additionally, the TECHLAB project has been pivotal in establishing a specialized branch of our agency, providing comprehensive education and professional training across diverse fields, resulting in the inception of 7 innovative startup ventures. In total, these efforts have facilitated the employment of over 700 individuals, significantly impacting local employment dynamics.
Currently, our focus remains steadfast with ongoing projects like PRODIGI, aimed at digitalizing small and medium-sized enterprises throughout Bosnia and Herzegovina. Moreover, our collaboration on the LAMO project with Pella Municipality in Greece underscores our commitment to advancing urban mobility. This initiative seeks to revolutionize transportation within our industrial zones near the city center through the adoption of electric bicycles, promoting both environmental sustainability and healthier lifestyles.
