The Italian Council for Agricultural Research and Economics, Centre for Plant protection and Certification has various research activities on urban sustainability. With particular reference to the urban heat island, I can provide the collection of data on environmental stresses in bedding plants or extensive green roofs in the urban environment in Sicily (Italy), to be used for the drafting of guidelines or good practices. We can also develop /pilot plantings of urban green.
