I’m Deana Alibali, specialist at the directorate of Strategic planing and EU projects in Shkoder Municipality, North Albania.
I’m writing to express our interest in the project topics you have proposed.Brief presentation :
The Municipality of Shkoder, is located in Northern Albania, has an area of 873 m2 and a population of 213,493 inhabitants. Scutari is part of the region of the same name and is one of the most important cultural and historical centers of Albania, as well as one of the oldest cities in Albania, with a thousand-year history behind it. It has been assessed at different times as a node of geostrategic importance due to the proximity between the mountains, the lake, the sea and important roads of the Western Balkans.
In the last 5 years the tourism sector in Albania, but in Shkoder expecially, has experienced rapid growth and we are increasingly interested in concrete projects in this sector.As above, we find a common interest in your project idea and we would like to hear more details about it, as we have so many villages where we can implement projects in ecoturism.
