The BTIN, since its establishment in 2019, has had its focus and activities oriented at the building of sustainable communities in the EU border areas. The network currently counts 16-member towns and islands from 10 EU countries working in partnership with local NGOs. In cooperation with different local authorities from Italy, Malta, Greece and Cyprus we are designing a project aimed at mitigating the impact of tourism on water resources in small islands.

We would like to extend the partnership to small islands from Croatia, France or Spain.

    Dear Carlo De Marco,

On behalf of Varna Economic Development Agency – an NGO, established in 1997, we are interested to join your project proposal in case you are interested to have a partner from Bulgaria too.

Currently, we are a partner organization and implement an EuroMed project , called TOURISMO – TOURism Innovative and Sustainable Management of flOws – https://tourismo.interreg-euro-med.eu/.

We have also experience in other multinational projects related to tourism, realized under the Danube Interreg and JOP Black sea basin programs. More info about our organization could be found following http://www.veda-bg.eu.

In case you need a technological partner, we can recommend one reliable ITC company from Varna, able to support dissemination and training activities with web- and portals’ design & maintaining, software development, social media, producing online publications : newsletters, brochures, roll banners, infographics, etc., online maps and training platforms.

    Kind regards,

    Todorka Dimitrova
