A project consortium from Slovenia, Spain and Macedonia is inviting interested parties in joining a project partnership. The project proposal is tackling the issue of conservation of endangered animal species with the introduction of conservation medicine.
Project goal
Main goal of the project is to contribute to the conservation of the protected and endangered animal species by developing and communicating a preservation model for endangered bird species with introduced principles of conservation medicine and education.
Short description of the project
Project aims to develop and test a cross sectoral model for preservation of wild and endangered bird species listed in The EU Red list of Birds 21. The main two proposed elements of the model are (a) development and adaptation of educational curriculum for environmental science student programme, and (b) setting up a pilot site for educational and conservational purpose. Additionally, the project aims to prepare an (c) action plan (or strategy) for the integration of the conservation medicine into local or other conservation strategies and documents.
