Insieme per Camminare (IpC) stands at the intersection of cultural heritage and sustainable tourism. Based in Southern Italy, we leverage our expertise to foster a tourism model that respects and sustains the natural and cultural environments we operate within.
Our core activities revolve around the sustainable management of tours and cultural heritage sites, including a museum which guards a globally recognized illuminated manuscript as the oldest in the world and inscribed by the UNESCO in the “Memory of the World” list . We are committed to promoting cultural tourism that is both enriching and environmentally conscious, utilizing eco-friendly practices and innovative digital solutions.
Our goal is to transform the tourism sector by emphasizing sustainability and cultural depth. We aim to create a tourism model that supports local economies, preserves cultural and natural resources, and promotes an understanding of the significance of preserving our global heritage.
In this regard we are seeking to join partnerships in the Interreg Euro-MED Programme to:
– Develop and promote sustainable tourism practices that can be replicated across the Mediterranean.
– Engage in joint projects that leverage cultural heritage to drive eco-tourism, enhancing both environmental protection and visitor experiences.
– Explore innovative approaches to tourism that integrate technology, sustainability, and cultural education.
We believe these efforts will contribute significantly to the industry’s recovery post-pandemic and help pivot towards a more sustainable, resilient future.
